BIOG

Howard Trigg was born in Cardiff, Wales in the early 1970's, and moved to Rhodesia in 1976 where he spent the majority of his childhood, returning to the UK in 1984. Howard's great love has always been cinema, and at the age of 40, he finally took his(long overdue)first step to becoming an actor, by attending a Method Acting Course at the Brian Timoney Acting Studios in London.

Not long after he found and joined a theatre company "TS Theatre Productions"; a fledgeling and progressive company in his home town of Swindon, to fulfill his creative outlet. He auditioned for and was cast in his first role of "Scanlon" in their production of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", followed this up with the much loved Jonathan Harvey play "Beautiful Thing" in which Howard played the character 'Tony', and has continued to challenge himself with parts in Sophocles's Greek tragedy "Oedipus", and Mark Ravehill's "Shopping & Fucking", where he played drug dealer and all round psycho 'Brian'.  He has since been performing in various productions within this very well respected company, with roles in further productions confirmed.

Howard loves film, in particular World Cinema, and is particularly drawn to the work of Pedro Almodovar and Walter Salles, though professes to not being a 'film snob', and loves most genres of film. It's Howard's desire to simply be involved in what he enjoys watching, that drives his ambition.

One of Howard's other passions is photography and art; check out work here.

He is a Vegan and naturally supports Animal Rights; his belief being that no one life is more valid than another, and supports a number of charities that are close to his heart, in particular SANDS and the Terrence Higgins Trust.
